Last night was a learning experience for us at the Brewers game. We had got our tickets through Groupon. Great deal. 15 dollars for 30 dollars worth of tickets. Front row, Section 204, Seat 11, 12. What I didn’t realize when I bought them the tickets were smack dab in the middle of the row. Charlie was obviously with us so if we needed to get up a millions times to tend to her we would had been those people. So after two innings we moved to an easier location and wrestled another family for better seats. And yes that did happen. I always tell the truth.
Well lets Flash back to the drive to the game. Charlie slept the whole ride and it was wonderful chat time for Momma and I. Flash to the game now. Charlie was so intrigued by everything that was going on. She really loved the people next to us. She was staring and starting to be kind of creepy. They would make faces at her and the couple would get no smiles from Charlie. Just creepy stares. The other thing she loved as much as her Dad was the New HD(4th largest in MLB) screen. It was epic and it just glowed with happiness. Well she had these things to distract her and keep her amused. After a while the sleep schedule went out the window. She slept for a little bit towards the end of the game. This would be the time it’s “nighty time”. The Brew Crew won and she wanted to see what happened. Andddd she was awake. Cue the dun dun duuuuunnnn.
Long story short it wasn’t a fun ride home. Frustrated mom and unhappy baby. Of course she finally fell asleep when we hit the Madison city limits. Oh well. We did have fun at the game. Yesterday was a day I had dreamt about since you were born, Charlie. The Brewers won. We learned a lot going to Miller Park with a baby. Its means step your game up. We were thrown a few curve balls and tomorrow is another day. Get it curve balls. We were at a baseball game.
